Part-time Nanny for 2 kids
Pay: negotiable depending on qualifications
Location: Kernersville, NC
Days/Time: Full days on Tuesdays & Thursdays (7am-5:30pm) required and some Fridays needed.
Start Date: August 2023 with opportunity for some hours this summer
Job Description:
We are seeking a nanny for one almost five year old girl and one infant boy. We require a nanny who is responsible, loves children, and can create/deliver engaging learning-through-play activities. Our daughter is Spanish-English bilingual and we would love for her to be able to speak Spanish during the day to her nanny (though it is not required). She has significant dietary restrictions so attention to detail and good communication skills are required.
Qualities and Skills Required:
- Experience with young children
- Responsible
- Good communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred (but not required)
Responsibilities:
- Engage children actively (limited screen time)
- Ensure nap/quiet time
- Serve lunch/snacks that parent prepared in advance
- Provide prepared medical formula twice a day (taken orally)
- Communicate with parents openly
