Nanny Position temporary

Location: New Sherwood in Winston

Days/Time:  April 1 – Aug 23 Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30

Pay: $17-19 per hour depending on experience. Cash paid weekly. 

Children:  2.5yr old Boy/Girl twins

Job Description:

• Our current nanny is leaving to welcome her first baby and we are looking for a new nanny to watch our twins before they start preschool in August.
• We use gentle parenting and are looking for someone who supports this with redirection and short time outs if a break if needed. 
• We are looking for someone who is comfortable planning a fun, but structured day (crafts, outside time, etc). They are great at free play but can get rowdy when bored. My SUV will be used to transport them to any activities so you don’t have to deal with 2 car seats in your car. 
• Prepare lunches- typically leftovers or quick easy meals. Snacks are typically some combo of pouches, fruits bar, and crackers. The only house work is keeping their playroom tidy when not in use and their dishes into the dishwasher as needed.
• The twins take a daily 2ish hour nap/quiet time in their cribs. We follow a consistent schedule for meals and nap. As we get closer to Aug, we will need to adjust to their preschool schedule. Feel free to study or do an online course while they nap.
• We have an older, small, hypoallergenic dog that mostly wants to be left alone and sleeps on the couch. You will not have to do anything for our dog, but she likes pets if you want to give one.
• I work from home in an office separate from their play area. I try to not let them know I am home so I don’t disrupt you and them.
• Our current nanny has been wonderful and we hope to do 1-2 days of overlap to help the new nanny get the lay of the land and ease the twins’ transition to a new person.
