Job Description

  • The HR Student Assistant will provide assistance to the HR team, ensure timely and quality task completion and customer service to students, faculty and staff
  • Provide clerical and other administrative support to all HR teams as needed, including an employment file organization project
  • Assist with event set-up and breakdown as needed including student employment campaign events and other Human Resources team events
  • Perform research for various projects
  • Represent the department in a positive way with students and the broader community

Skills Required

  • Self-starter with the ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Capacity to work on a computer and keep detailed records
  • Work with people in a wide variety of settings and situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with different types of programs and software
  • Ability to work with highly sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
