Additional Information from Department

The primary job of a barista at Campus Grounds is preparing and serving a variety of drinks for customers while fostering a sense of community between the staff of CG and the customers. Baristas will be knowledgeable about the coffee and baked goods we sell to make recommendations and to answer questions. A barista should be able to explain menu items and successfully uphold quality standards while preparing drinks. Baristas will also be responsible for operating a cash register, handling a credit card machine, and keeping the shop clean.
