Job Description
The GSE for Safe Office Community Engagement will assist the Safe Office staff in all WFU community initiatives associated with promoting the services of the Safe Office, specifically promoting education on interpersonal violence data, statistics, and response with a focus on representation of all identities impacted by relationship and sexual violence.
Develop visual content and design marketing material (social media, flyers, signage, etc.) for outreach efforts, awareness campaigns, education sessions/workshops, and group counseling offerings under the direction of the Safe Office Associate Director and Safe Office Coordinator of Clinical Outreach.
Provide support to ALIVE peer advocacy group as needed under the direction of the Safe Office Coordinator of Community Engagement.
Assist with promoting Safe Office awareness and presence on campus through tabling, posting marketing materials, supporting awareness months and other campus-wide campaigns, and interacting with students, staff, faculty and other campus stakeholders in support of conveying the mission and services of the Safe Office.
Other Safe Office administrative tasks as assigned.
Attend monthly supervision with the Associate Director of the Safe Office, or more frequently as identified by the AD.
