- Available to all students
Job Description
- Assists departments and organizations with marketing and distributing various publicity/promotional items.
- Assists with daily activities, exhibitions and special events.
- Create content calendars, develop and distribute text and video-based content, monitor social media channels and support promotional and marketing efforts.
- Interest and/or connection to department
- May also organize and conduct special events that may include ticket sales, design and produce print publications, gather, interpret and disseminate information.
- May conduct research, check bibliographic information, proofreading, and indexing.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Requires creativity and ability to work independently.
- Routine duties will vary by specific projects.
- At least 2 hours in the office a week, but some work can be done remotely. There may be some night and/or weekend hours related to special events.
